Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and 2+ years experience in IoT or data science

• Experience with serverless cloud services (AWS services: Lambda, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS)

• Creativeness and ability to generate new ideas

• Ideal: experience with data pipelines

• Languages: Javascript, Python, Bash, HTML, node.js, and CSS

• High flexibility, agile mindset, customer-driven and results-oriented

• Ability to work in an autonomous and cross-functional team

• Software tools: Jira, Confluence, Slack, Bitbucket

• Languages: English (professional level) & German (ideal)

Responsibilities

• As a Technical Lead Full Stack Engineer at STREAMETRIC, you will sit in the driver's seat and take charge of our IoT platforms technology stack to create and deliver value to our customers

• Take ownership of our cloud IoT technology stack and application built in AWS

• Build, expand and improve our backend, infrastructure, and deployment processes using Bitbucket Pipelines

• Set up monitoring and alerts to ensure minimum downtime, security, and cost efficiency of our cloud environments and IoT devices

• Build software prototypes and MVPs for customers

• Technical contact point for external software development teams

• Write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation

• Maintain high levels of security awareness when creating infrastructure

• Work with both front-end and backend developers to improve the overall platform where needed

• Build and improve the interface to the data science environment (e.g. data pipelines)

• Work with data engineers and data scientists

• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application development and deployment
